I'm still having a hard time processing this week, as it had:
A trip to NEBY that had far too many logistical issues, but two awesome workshops.
Me coming down with a cold, boo.
A visit to the physical therapist, who helped me realize just how little core muscle strength I have after last semester in bed. But she says that we can get me through a whole ballet class with some work!!
An eye exam - turns out I'm near sighted.
Writing my teaching philosophy, which turned out much worse than I thought I did when I finished writing it... plenty of room for improvement and time to do it.
Taking Malcolm back to the SPCA, as he just attacks me far too much and for no reason, followed by awesomely supportive friends, delicious Thai food, and delicious chocolate cake that made me sick (really, was that necessary?).
Starting a little work on my research question that was supposed to take a day (a few weeks later I'm still decipering it).
Picking out glasses, with a rather amusing sales clerk - there were frames of many colors and sizes put on my face. I almost got red ones, because red just makes me happy, but instead went with the "classic" (or Plain Jane as the sales clerk called them) bronzy-copper metal framed ones.
A sick day, full of Olympics, reading, and a walk (to be a good fibro girl).
Saying something that just didn't come out right, and I'm still mulling over how to fix it. I just can't drop it when I've said something that even has the remotest possibility of hurting someone.
Finally realizing the strength that I've developed over the past 5 years.
Plus, I'm loving the new Kelsey Bulkin CD that's out, and so excited about finding the Devon Gundry Refrenergy song.
